It took WILLPOWER to put them back. (But I totally stuffed the box in an inconvenient location in case I had non-buyers remorse and wanted to go back and buy them.)
I was actually walking the hell out of those things when I only had to saunter in a little aisle. Don't know what would happen if I tried to wear them on the subway...
$100 isn't that much for shoes. Most good ones cost at least that much. (But it is tough to justify stuff like that when you're not working. Definitely been there, felt that.)
And $100 is actually pretty discounted for shoes that were originally $245. :( But I've told myself I'm going to spend the $100 on a Gazelle Edge instead. If it works then my legs will look good even in my scruffy old sneakers.
