I briefly had a one-woman boycott of Wal-Mart going after reading about their labor practices and everything, but I realized it was just pushing me to go to Target instead, and my guess is that they aren't a whole lot better on things. Also, my one-woman boycott was really only negative for the one-woman, who needed contact solution, cheap popcorn and new socks very badly.

I was just having a similar conversation with my parents about Wal-Mart. More specifically, I said "Wal-Mart is evil and I hope it rots in hell." Not sure if a mega-lo-mart can technically rot in hell, but you get the gist.
