For some reason, i've had the shadow of a song nagging at the back of my mind all day today. Couldn't remember the words, or who sang it...just that it accompanied an animated music video clip with a frog and that, back in the 80s, the ABC sometimes played it between tv shows in the afternoon. OMG OMG! I know that song but never have seen the video clip. Thank you for bringing back such lovely memories. Do you realise the song was based on the children s picture book, 'The Butterfly Ball' by Alan Aldrige & William Plomer. The book came out in 1973.
I have the book, so if you would like to borrow, so you can read it to K and A. My pleasure.
I will put some pics up.

I didn't know there was a book! Sigh, yes it took me back to my childhood...summer days after school, doing my homework in front of the telly...

I used to love that clip/song! Now they probably just play ads between the shows.

The boys used to love that song (Love is All) when they were little kids - it I think we have the original vinyl 45 singlr of it somewhere. The vocals were by Ronnie James Dio - who was an American heavy metal vocalist and songwriter who has performed with Elf, Rainbow, Black Sabbath, and his own band Dio. Dio performed vocals on the 1974 UK single "Love is All" taken from Roger Glover's concept album The Butterfly Ball and the Grasshopper Feast. Dio also provided vocals for the songs "Homeward" and "Sitting in a Dream" on the album which also featured Deep Purple alumni Glenn Hughes and David Coverdale
