I intended to check in all weekend, but since I've hardly been home or in front of a computer long enough to do so, clearly it didn't happen.  I've also wanted to comment on a few things, but didn't manage that either.  How the heck did I get this occupied all of the time??  Anyway, I have an entry ready to go with further elaboration on things
