Would you like to save?

Main kneels near a tree, gouging it with a pocket knife he's picked up from lord knows where.

"Naaatee...level...10." He couldn't remember what level Nate was at. It hardly mattered anyway. Nate was always at level ten. Useless Brit. He still hadn't located that fairy either. Sad, sad day. He wanted his bullet money too....

((I sound so stupid asking this, but what does saving your progress really do? I figured you come back to life like you were the time you saved it, but I know nothing about this guy or his canon. >.< Sorry.))

(( :D No, really, that's okay. Saving your progress is kind of a thing people look at different ways. In gaming, when you save you get to restart from that point when you die, as if nothing had happened. That can't really be done so well in roleplays, so my interpretation of it is kind of like programming an Emergency Time Machine. That way, if something happens, you get zapped back to before it happened ( ... )

((Ohh, okay. That's what Mel was afraid about- zolting back into the past, as either herself or another copy. I figured she'd die, then her body would dissapear, and she'd suddenly come back in the body she'd been in when she'd saved her progress. Kinda like in 'Theif Of Time' by Terry Pratchett- one of the characers gets his head cut clean off, and his body lays there for a few minutes, then suddenly he pokes the guy who killed him on the shoulder and then kills him.

I kept worrying that I'd kill her and use the 'save your progress' thing, and then somebody would come up and go 'Bzuh? That's not how that works!'

Another thing- how many times does it work? Because if she got captured or whatever, she'd probably kill herself or taunt somebody into killing her so she'd get the freebie, but I figured that'd be a crappy use of one free second chance.

Iiii am making no sense. And you play him well! Of course, I know nothing about games, so you can take this with a grain of salt.))

((:D In games, a save point is like a bookmark that doesn't fall out. You die, you go back tot he last point you saved. In Persona it doesn't matter how many times you die, but abusing it might make things difficult in the RP world. I figure realistically you get one to three freebie deaths from saving, and after that it might not work as well.

I play him crazily, but I'm at least constant with it. I figure no one can call me on being an out of character Main when he doens't say anything during the game and actually *can* walk around sideways and backwards with no problems. Thank you. :D

Oh yeah! I haven't touched this pup in a while, but if you ever need to ask me about things or whatever, I also play Katsuya in the Nexus. My AIM's Water Mistress06 .You can peg me if you ever need any anything or if you want to play, ne? ))
