A mini anime update...

Just finished watching Natsume Yūjin-Chō and Zoku Natsume Yūjin-Chō.. pretty awesome. Sort of like Mushi-shi if it took place in a modern high school and Ginko didn't know his place in the world yet. With super kawaii nyan-chan neko-kun power spirit kitty! My daughter is watching this as well and enjoying it thoroughly

This is the first time I noticed this but, you have the same birthdate as my mother. But you're luckily more than a decade younger than her, chronically and in insanity.

I memorize birth years by significant world events that happened at the same time. My grandfather was born the year the American stock market crashed. My grandmother: the year Roosevelt was elected; my father: the year WWII ended; Solomon; days before the Iranian revolution (since he was there that's how that got picked) etc. Although I like making fun of my stepfather cause he was born the year the first Superman movie came out.
I'm convinced it's one of the weirdest mnemonic devices I could ever come up with. You get Watergate, or maybe the invention of the UPC. Although Watergate was at least in August.
