Someone dissuade me, please...

Guys, I'm thinking of doing NaNoWriMo...is this sane in any way? I'm trying to do a reality check with myself but it's not working. I'm president of Student Council, founder and leader of my school's GSA, in grade eleven and at an art school, so consequently rather bogged with homework, a writing major, so I already have to write tons all the time ( Read more... )

I'm not.

Maybe in four years when I'm not so busy.

But now? No way in hell.

Don't let me dissuade you though. ;)

Moey said she's signed up, and she said maybe she'll write more than a few paragraphs this year. :P

Damn, I want to read your novel. ^_^

Don't let me dissuade you though. ;)

Nuuu! Somebody must or I shall actually implode.

Hehe. Well, at least then if I fail, I'm in good company.

Vo, I am totally with you on this one. 4 ap classes, multicultural advisor/financial advisor, student council rep, french club, film club, art club, junior cabinet, band, quiz bowl, model UN, and other school stuff. Wow, I really don't have time for this. eep. I haven't signed up yet, but I am going to, and so are you. We will so work through this together, and when we finish (not if) we can celebrate and congratulate each other on writing a novel and having ridiculously busy lives. ^^ *huggles* You HAVE to do it.

We will so work through this together, and when we finish (not if) we can celebrate and congratulate each other on writing a novel and having ridiculously busy lives.

We will so be congratulating each other from our graves. I figured it all out, with calculations and everything, and I have approximately 21 hours a week that aren't filled with sleeping, school, homework/studying, extracurricular schtuff, internet time, eating, and planning my future. That's not including friends or having any sort of relaxing time for myself. That means in November, I will not have any spare time. ANY. As in, I can't walk down a hallway without something in my hand. This is UNSANE. I LOVE IT. And I'm getting a little too caps happy...

*pokes* You sound like you're even busier than me, if that's possible. But, okay, this will be the best ever. We can set up times to freak about it and everything. *dies from a combination of stress, excitement, and pure unsanity*

Okay, okay. As long as we do this thing togther, I can get through it. *myurggles**

I can be a bit of a freight train, can't I? :P But you're convincing me much too rapidly for my own good...I'm trying to have a stress free year, Mel, so I really think you should just go and pick on someone else. ^_^

Heh. You're the best, man.
