So turning 18, at least for me, didn't suck as much as my birthdays of past, I didn't feel any different, the build up to it was way more stressful than turning it. Now though, 4 months later, it's hitting me like a fucking ballon. So all i'm gonna say is unless your rents are kicking you out, don't leave unless you really feel ready, there is no rush. And don't worry about being a grown up quite yet, unless you want to, your still a teen, you can blame anything you do on that ;)
Yeah, that's what I keep hearing. It's not that I expect to magically change into this horrible being who hates toys and cartoons and fun over night, I'm just scared about college and leaving my mommy and all the other dumb shit 18 year olds have to do. I have a feeling I'll just spend the first two years after high school at the gay-ass community college just so I can get used to surviving on my own. *heavy lamenting sigh of angst*

Dude maybe it's just the one I go to but I love community college, it's a different experiment than going to some U or other such thing. I won't say it's not scary, it so is, hell I still have my mom call on somethings lol. And again maybe it's just the world I live in but most of the adults I know have toys and love cartoons, but then again I am surrounded by people that while way more attractive than comic book guy are still just as nerdy. Hell the guy my mom is dating is way more nerdy than comic book guy, but damn is he awesome *le sigh* it's a strange world at at times I feel younger than i ever did before. I of course realized and have said to many people that it's now too late to kill anyone now, i'll be tried as an adult, thankfully though most the people I used to want to kill are out of my life lol
