[Takeru's head jerks up and he looks at the door carefully before approaching it and opening it just enough to look out--though he didn't even think about securing the door chain first, so even if whoever was on the other side wasn't who they said, well, it wouldn't take much to overpower a six year old. But it doesn't even occur to him that there's any risk--in his mind a door and a strongly worded 'GO AWAY' are enough to keep people out.
