Yep… three years talking over the same subject and yes, you could very well have said the same words now.The latina thing, makes me feel sick, she can’t act, she’s only there to explode her artificial beauty and saying her lines as a robot without expression. I hate what the writers did to Danny, sacrificing him, sacrificing the incipient and interesting story with Martin, after the ambush they had been involved, (a plot that had got a lot of enthusiastic new viewers for sure) to get the new character had more time screen and get her to be accepted by the viewers, a thing that they barely got. From then, the show only have had a few good chapters we can count with the fingers of my hand… and they are three complete seasons and the current one

I also re-read an article of 2006 where Enrique was very happy and couldn't wait for a romance between his character and RS's. i was disgusted at the time, while now I'm cooler about Enrique wishing those things for himself. Maybe I understood that as an actor he would get more popularity or maybe... I had a higher opinion of Enrique two years ago than now. you know I gave up following him through his path made of parties, models, shallowness. I love him at a distance, just like he was my son, that you love no matter what but you can choose to disagree with his lifestyle and opinions.

What else shall i say? I'd repeat the things i said more than three years ago, a reality now, and in the worst of ways.

I agree in many ways, although I'm not an Elena-hater, and don't have issues with RS' acting. I just don't really like her and Danny together. That said, I really don't mind the character. However, I do resent the fact that she's just one more person in the way of D/M and taking up episode space that could be Danny's.

I know, by some of your previous comments, that you don't hate Elena. Good for you, cuz you don't have any problems in seeing her scenes on the screen. the problem is that, if I and many others still resent against Elena almost like the first day, that means that her character or her acting didn't grow or could express something I can warm to. And this storyline describes a man who is totally lost after her and a woman who never said 'I love you' or had any of the symptoms you get when you fall or love somebody. I know that fanon is one thing and canon is a different thing, but I still think that she's the wrong character and the wrong actress and both Danny and her have the wrong lines and the romance is taking a soapish, stupid direction. (let alone that if Danny is with her, he can't be with martin so much!)

I agree 100% that she's not the right actress or woman to be paired with him. But then -- I don't think that woman exists! I've thought about this, and I think I simply can't accept anyone with Danny but Martin... lol.

I wrote this in my LJ way back when Elena first joined the show, since I had such an issue with how she joined the team versus Martin's welcome. And it STILL holds true...

2005: All right, here's my deal. I dislike Elena Delgado, the newest addition to the Without A Trace team. It's not because I think she's a "bitch" or a "whore" as she's been called so often lately (which really, I don't understand). I just have an issue with how she joined the team and the reaction of the characters to her thus far

Before WaT and before Elena, I wasn't into TV shows so much to wonder if I was a character-bashing person or not. I found out a bad side of myself when I came to hate Elena for real, during S4. But you said something that struck me: whatever we thought then, if we're still at that point or close to it after three years, it means that something is wrong with this character (or the actress that portays it with her looks and voice).

Oh, last but not least, your comment of three years is rational and perfect. I agree with everything you said about Martin's first months of struggle and her being welcome in the name of something I can't decript unless it's because she's a pretty -not for me- woman.
