This week's title is just Connections, and this is my usual, cynical comment

The case was quite smooth, but for some reason I didn't get struck by it.

Bare with me, but I'm gonna talk about personal stories, namely Danny's:

I HATED his scenes with Elena, both of them.

When he was sitting before Jack, he was cool, busy, self-confident

hi, I'm new to the WaT LJ scene, I got here via the danny/martin comm. I hope you don't mind me commenting in your LJ :)

it is still unclear to me why the Elena character was added to the show last season - I thought they were fine the way they are. I don't think she adds anything, except possibly providing another love triangle (consider the first exchange of words of Martin and Elena at the internet cafe).

Danny Taylor is (or used to be) a smooth character and the script doesn't do him justice by following Elena around like a puppy dog. I almost want them to bring in another character or have him fall inexplicably for Sam or even Vivian just so he'll stop being so gooey about her.

now that I have found your LJ, I will be checking back for these screencaps. I have an idea of what I'd want to screencap, but I have no idea how to do it and don't have the right equipment :/

I watch the old eps of WaT on TNT during the week...the new eps just don't hold a candle to the old ones. and Elena wasn't there! Danny needs to go back to his old say-what's-in-my-dirty-little-mind self ;)

will scan through your previous entries, thanks. if you're going to be screencapping away last night's episode, can I make a request? I just about died when Martin said to Elena, "ya think if I walked in here naked, would anyone notice?" and then grinned. that would be one deadly userpic. I hope I'm not the only one who taped the show and then rewound it and replayed it a couple times just to hear him say that ;)

Whoa! That's the difference between my watching and the one by a person who understands English well! I miss fantastic lines like this one!

I'll make sure to include that Martin's expression in my screencaps. I need to remember that most people who d/l my caps are Martin-lovers. I tend to cap Danny three times more than Martin (unless they share the scene, of course!)

PS yes, I'd notice if I saw Martin getting into my room naked while I'm at the computer. Can you believe me? *g*

I haven't seen this one yet, but I appreciate the heads up. I am *SO* not a fan of Danny/Elena and I personally don't like Elena's character at all. I'm another one who sees no reason for adding her to the cast. Not to mention she's screwing up the fanfic I'm trying to write! lol

I haven't seen this ep yet, but it looks not really good. I don't want to watch Danny with Elena. I don't hate her but I don't want she is together with Danny.
I have to watch all eps of season 5, I need time!

Well, it's hard for me not to hate her. The authors are not helping me either!

Yes, I guess if I stopped watching before S5 now it would scare me to death. But, having seen every episode and coming to this one gradually, I can tell it's better than it seems when you read my rants. I should stop talking about Elena and start commenting the whole episode the way I do on the boards.

And you know what? After the disillusionment of S4, I don't expect anything from it anymore, and, funny enough, this means I can enjoy it a lot. Add that they are not building any storyline on Danny and Martin's friendship, so they are paired together rather often and you're done.
