I was wondering about that myself actually, but I haven't managed to find out anything yet ^^ Some people on Yahoo Answers say that Reborn once mentioned that they were mafia from Sicily in the anime though. If so, they're both Southerners XD

Sweet. At least that'd meand that he's from one of the more traditional mafias, I think that sits a bit better with Romano. Btw while he doesn't like the mafia, his values are still... very close to that sometimes. Especially where honor and family are concerned.
