"Trust me, none of that is gonna get you drunk." He takes a seat next to her without even a by-your-leave, leaning against the bar and studying the set-up behind it. He doesn't have to ask the reason for her misery; having noticed both Miku's disappearance as well as the fact that the I.D. plate on her door is gone, he is capable of putting two and two together.

"Somewhere else," he mutters, though he does, for once, stop when his sleeve is grabbed. Ordinarily, he'd just pull away and find some place to sulk alone, except there really aren't that many people here and that strategy only works when there are lots of others.

Aw, cheer up. She's been through more embarrassing things-especially onstage. So she's going to hold on to him tightly, just in case. "Books are boring anyway. Let's go do something else."

"...Such as?" There isn't really much to do around here. Though he has to agree, at least about the sort of books they have here. Very boring.

She purses her lips, trying to come up with something. What can they do in this crappy place that's fun? She only knows her purpose as a Vocaloid… "Can you sing?"

"I'm pretty certain there are laws against that," is his deadpan reply. Listen to his voice. Hear how scratchy and rough it is. Consider this voice singing. "But if you want to hear it anyways, bring that book. Either you're gonna lick it just in case it will get you drunk, or you can hit yourself in the head with it to try and knock yourself out." He winks at the end of that, tone light.

She chuckles, leading him towards the music room. Funny-she likes that, and she's always been of the opinion that anyone can learn to sing. "Wanna give it a try anyway? A girl likes a good serenade…"

That makes him shake his head slightly, laughing low under his breath. "Key word being good." Still, he allows himself to be led, because at the very least, he will get to spend some time with her, and that can only help him. ...The singing might not, but he's sure his overall awesome can make up for a minor bit of badness.

"I can…teach you, if you'd like." She winks at him, leading him to the music room. Sure, they would probably just end up making out or something…but it's a win-win situation anyway, right?

"Sounds fun." Exactly! There is absolutely no way either of them could lose in this deal, especially if the making out begins sooner as opposed to later. Training may fix ignorance of tone and notes, but it can't really do much for the fact that his vocal cords are damaged from centuries of warfare.

"What kind of music do you like, anyway?" She'd like to think of herself as flexible when it comes to that, but unlike humans her voicebanks are still too limited for everything under the sun…

He blinks at her in response to that. "Not church music...?" There are kinds of music? What madness is this? It all sounds pretty much the same to him once you get outside the scope of military marches. He's really not musically inclined, regardless of his skills with the flute. That is more Austria's purview.

Oh. Well…that's not so bad. Church music is something she knows she can do even if she really isn't into that sort of thing. "Sounds like you have a lot to learn…"

"There aren't that many kinds of music, are there? I mean, I dunno, maybe where and when you're from there is, because I d-" Pause. Right, he's trying to not remind her of Miku, so let's not mention that he'd never heard anything in the style the other Vocaloid sang in before. "I don't think there are that many types. Unless ya mean, like, differences between music from different countries? Cause obviously, say, English military marches would be different from Prussian."

Good call. She's trying her damnedest not to feel sorry for herself right now, so she's sticking to the one topic that will make her feel better no matter what. "Yeah, we've got that, but there're also genres. Pop, rock, folk, the blues… There's something for everyone, and…" She winks at him. "You look kind of like a rocker to me."
