WHAT: Someone finds that karaoke machine in the saloon.
WHERE: The saloon. FOREVER.
WHEN: Fifth day of event, early afternoon.
WARNING(S): Mentions of child death but none portrayed. Depends who shoes up. Also MOE HEART ATTACK.

Miku was back to normal it seemed.. But did that mean that she had 'died' too? Or had she simply switched places with the other version of herself for a few days? This was all so confusing, even more so when it involved robots.. Sighing, he sat down on one of the few remaining bar stools next to the partly destroyed counter, deciding to listen to Miku's singing for a while. She seemed happy at the moment, but then, she always did when something concerned music.

The look on Miku's face suggested that it might have something to do with the previous events. ''It was the bloody cowboys fault, wasn't it? They're so fuckin' dead if they dare to show their faces here again..''

How did he know?! She was surprised for a moment before the path his mind must have taken became obvious. "...Yeah..." She nodded slowly, becoming distracted from the song as the lyrics on the screen resumed outside her notice. "But I think that in a way it kind of had to happen? For us to go back to normal? It could have been worse--" Her expression became dreamy in a strange, melancholy way as she spoke a little softer. "At least Kouki and I were together..."

Gokudera didn't take notice of her slip, but he might realize that something was up eventually if it occurred more often since he knew that Miku was Japanese, and thus usually referred to everyone by their last name.

''Still..'' He didn't want to admit it, but Miku was probably right. Hell, his younger self would probably have been equally useless, dynamites or not. ''It surely wasn't your fault anyways.''

"You're probably right..." She still felt that if she had acted differently, maybe Kouki could have gone free. It had to have been such a painful way to die, but... She shook her head. "I guess these kinds of things just have to happen! Do you ever wonder why it has to be this way, Gokudera? It doesn't make any sense, it's just not fair -- I mean..." The various contradictory events going on around her made her transistors falter. Everything that looked like it might be an explanation just went away later or turned out to be something completely different.

Though it still wasn't completely clear to Miku, she had begun to pick up on the trend that she was one of the most sheltered out of all the inmates. Sure, she'd been exposed to some pretty disturbing material in her musical career, but it was all safely ensconced in the realm of fiction. "I know -- I don't get it! They have so much technology so you'd think they'd be smart and want to help us, but instead they're all evil! It's a bad dream I never wake up from..."

Miku looked pretty broken down at the moment.. Wasn't he the one planning to let her enjoy herself with the bloody karaoke machine? So much for that.
