There have been a lot of new people lately. That's really nice! It's great to meet you all! But, you know, we have to tell you the same things over and over. "We're in an asylum," "people here are from different times," "I'm not in a little box," all that. It's a good conversation starter, but it gets kind of repetitive after a while.

How about when you're a little older? It'd be a kind of boring-type grownup thing, anyway. [She knows even as she says it that it'll probably make it all the more interesting to the child - what does a kid want more than to do stuff that's grown-up?] But not the good way!
