She gives out a frightened squeak when someone dashes in so suddenly like that. "Ah, u--um Po--Poland!"

"Oh, hi, Luka!" He paused, briefly indecisive, then decided to go for his original plan, tugging one of the cushions up and burrowing underneath it.

Poland paused. "I like, didn't get to check enough," he concluded after a moment. "Hold on."

And he dove back under the cushion, curling up as small as he could.
