And Luka's been wandering about outside, exploring, albeit timidly. But--this place doesn't look so bad. There aren't any scary adults around, and she's seen a few kids already. She's making her way to the animals when she sees someone running in her direction.

And she freezes, clinging to the rim of her hat. What--What did he want?

Neither does she, being a city girl. All she can think of at that moment is how adorable it is. Her face lights up at the sight of the tiny creature, longing to touch it but fearful of hurting it.

"Hello," she says instead, giving it a wide smile. "Hello!"
