Except for the gravitation and the monochrome thing, all this did seem pretty boring to her. The place looked so...well...innocuous. Like a hospital even, though she knew from certain performances that even hospitals could be a tad creepy. But this place didn't so much creep her out as it aggravates her.

"Doesn't look like much, huh?" Here's a cheeky smile. "So where's your room?"

I fail at looking at diagrams. And Kouki can hop in whenever, I suppose? gewehrundblut May 5 2011, 07:36:48 UTC
"It's not much at all, though the gardens are pretty nice." He feels a bit stupid for taking her back through the stairwell now, because he forgot that the stairways run between common and living areas. That question with that grin grabs his interest, and he returns it with a flirty kind of smirk of his own. "My room? Second floor, room 41. I'm next to the pissy old German bastard, but he's easy to ignore."

Exiting his room, Kouki quickly search for Luka. Since he did offer to show her around and she didn't decline him, he can't keep her waiting for too long.

It's also something to do in this place, he thought as his footsteps echoed lightly in the hallways.

There's a little scoff over that particular German, though she quickly replaces it with a smile. "I make it a point to remember where my friends are at. Hmm--?" Headtilt, upon spotting Kouki. "Hello there."

...Oh, friends. ...He can change that, though, can't he? Hopefully? ...Damn it, why does Wakahisa have to show up now? He's wholly unaware that Luka invited him. Still, he won't be wholly rude, since Wakahisa's not a bad kid. "Hey, Herr Wakahisa. What're you up to?"

"Hello, Mr. Gilbert." He heard that someone offered to be her guide, but Luka didn't specified. So it must be him. "I'm here to help out with the tour."

There was only one man she had eyes for, but they would have to drag her through hell and back before she'd even think of admitting to it. Flirting was just--

"I'm glad you came!" She gestured for him to follow them. "It's livelier that way!" And she could get to know Miku's friend here while they're at it.

That would make him sad if he knew. Unfortunately, he doesn't just yet, so he thinks his flirting might get him somewhere. "Oh? You are?" He looks surprised to hear this, but.. well, he can't be rude in front of the cute new woman, so he somehow suppresses the annoyance that threatens to break through, and grins. "Well, good! You can point out anything the awesome me might miss! Not that I'll miss anything, but you never know~"

He holds open the door to the garden. "Anyhow, we were just about to head to the garden." Where it's beginning to sprinkle. He blinks and peers at the room oddly. "Which I coulda sworn wasn't really outside......"

Kouki peeked into the room as well. "It's probably an indoor garden."

He glanced up at the 'sky', remembering how it changed from day to night whenever he stayed there long enough. "The sky here must be a simulation, or an 'illusion'." He added the last part, remembering that Gilbert wasn't from modern times. Well, the twenty-first century at least.

She wouldn't mind sleeping with people she liked well enough, though.

She peered out the garden, her jaw dropping a little. A simulation was something she could appreciate--and it would explain why no one could get out, even with a garden. She wasn't sure if she should be impressed or scared right now.

"An indoor garden? That's some technology."

Hope is not lost!

"I know what a simulation is!" ...Okay, so maybe he didn't, but he can't have some kid making him look bad in front of the fairer sex. "It's a really nice garden. It has cornflowers and potatoes and everything~" Yes, his priorities are such that a nice garden has cornflowers and potatoes, regardless of what else it may contain. He's terribly Prussian, isn't he?

"Want to take a look inside? There are lots of flowers."

Well, at least with the potatoes, they won't starve if their food got cut off from them.

Flowers are nice. And it's a change from all the bland whites in the asylum.

Stepping out. It felt good, after being all cooped up inside, never mind if the sky wasn't real.

He grins, quietly letting her take in the garden. The feel of being 'outside' is one he can definitely empathise with, since he's never been one to enjoy being stuck indoors too much. So he'll just let her decide when she wants to move the tour along.

Kouki watched her with a smile. The garden is always a nice place to go to escape the rest of the aslyum. Even if it's fake, he appreciate the open feeling.

She took a deep breath. The air felt artificial, as did everything around here, but it felt nicer here than anywhere else in the asylum so far. And the colors! She didn't deny that the plants here looked real at least, and so green--

"Hey...does Miku come out here often?"
