You know - I still visit LJ every single day.  I only have about 3 friends who post with any regularity, and I love reading what they have to say!  Facebook has pretty much stolen the fun out of journaling for me - when I can post short blurbs about what's happening throughout the day, it makes it more difficult to want to sit down and rehash it

Good to see you posting again. I read LJ about once or twice a week and maybe post once or twice a month.

I'm really sorry to hear about your job. Glad to hear you are going after them. I've lost two jobs this year. The first due to a layoff, the other due to "not having the skills they thought I had." I'm jaded, depressed, and looking to change careers. School is definitely on the table, but I'm putting up lots of roadblocks.

Anyway, hope you can take the summer off to regroup and relax. Best of luck to you.

*waves* Good to see you! Sorry about your job though :( But I hope in the end it all turns out for the best, you never know! (If I were you I'd definitely take a step back and enjoy the summer... start intensive job hunting a bit later :)
You know what's funny? every single time I see Jason Mraz on tv or hear him on the radio (he was here in Spain just recently) you always pop up in my mind! "Jason Mraz=oh Carriep63!" :)

I check LJ every day too... but have also lost the need to write... it doesn't flow naturally like it used to...

I'm sorry for your job loss. I'm sure you'll find a new job soon. I'll pray for you if you don't mind. :)
Try to relax a bit and don't think about the shit that happened at your old job. Try to keep the faith. :)
I was looking for a job for almost three years. And finally I got one. And quess what; I'm cleaning a church now. And I love it. :D
