This is totally a spur-of-the-moment thing, but since
rii_dono was saying she needed to finish her story, and I need to finish the first half of my draft (it's a good thing my self-imposed deadline is generous, but I HAVE been sticking to it fairly well), I figured we could do a June Writealong! Anyone is welcome to join in.
Here's how it's going to work:

Anyway, my goal is to finish the first half of my current draft by the time I leave (June 26.) That means 11 scenes, or about 16,500 words (if my estimate is correct.) I'm not concerned about word count, just finishing up those scenes. If I finish that on deadline, I plan on moving on to the outlines for my second half. It'll need a LOT of outlining.

*cough*
Anyways. I said this elsewhere but perhaps our super amazing arts would make good prizes? Character concepts, cover arts, that kinda thing. ^_^
My goal? FINISH MY STORY. By... um.
Well I don't have that much longer to go. Shouldn't be more than like 10k more words absolute maximum. So...by the end of the week is generous. I'll go with that.

Super happy fun times! And I'm willing to donate art if anyone's willing to want it! That would probably be doable. I think you should set another goal for when you finish Magitech!

Huh, maybe I will...I'm saving Death's Tear for NaNo...but I could go back to working on Sharra Fiddler or something.
Actually I need a bigger break with Sharra, since I would probably ruin it *again* if I started up this soon. Maybe I'll start on Vince :D Yeah, there we go.
I'll come up with an official goal when I finish Magitech.

My goal is to complete two short stories (I'm thinking in the neighborhood of 10k words each) by the end of the month.
I would offer some of my artwork as a prize, but it is considered a weapon of mass distuction in 14 states and 11 contries...
Maybe I could offer mathematical wisdom such as e^(pi*i)=-1.... oh darn it...

And Rii, I still haven't managed to get to derivatives. And I'm taking Stats next year, meaning I won't understand that equation too well until senior year.
There, Carrie, I did it.
