This day is not going as planned.

Tuesdays and Thursdays are "Mother's Day Out."  My sweet 4 year old has the croup, and thus cannot go to school today, and he has required much, much more of my attention than usual.  He needs breathing treatments, which he does NOT appreciate.  They are much easier to give to him now than when he was a baby, and ( Read more... )

I hope he's feeling better soon. You would have thought they'd have made some effort to make Robitussin and a whole host of other medicines taste better in the last two or three decades *s* I think they leave it the same just to torture us mums who have to force it down their kids throats *nods*

Hugs to you and your son. He must be miserable. At least he has you to help make him feel better, even if he has to choke down the Robitussin!

Sorry to hear your son has croup. That is an awful one, isn't it? I hope he feels better soon!

I thought I'd add to your list of movies to see. Have you seen The Queen with Helen Mirren yet? Hands down, my favourite movie of 2006. The acting and the script and the directing were all superb. Helen Mirren deserves an Academy Award for her role. She was fabulous, fabulous, fabulous!

Your muse? If I saw her, I'd probably kidnap her and keep her around for awhile to see what she could do for my writing! *laughs*
