The car that you want is massive Carrie. It's almost like driving a studio apartment - it's that big. Finding parking spaces for this monster is a nightmare due to the size. Trust me on this one and do a test drive before you even think you want it.

BUT. Change can be good, Carrie! Think about the iphone and new laptops, etc! So yeah. New car! Can't wait to see what happens. :)

Is it really just some scratches, or big dents and stuff? The former is worth getting fixed, but if it's more than cosmetic, I say make him get you a new car. And then tell him you're parking in the two-space side. Since he's such a parking expert and all, parking in the little side should be no problem, especially since this little escapade has hopefully cured him of his arrogance.
