Oh, I forgot to tell you a billion years ago (♥ hyperbole), you (and your family) were in my dream. For some reason, I was at your house, which was near the middle of nowhere, btw. And I had to do something there (I forgot now). It was so weird, because I expected someone I talk to every day to actually pop up in my dream.
Glad you had fun on your trip. I'm a bad Nano-er this year
ooo, i hate it when i get so caught up in something i spend the whole night (or day) doing it (like right now! should be asleep but i'm writing my noeel!!!!).
and your novel word count is going up nice and steady, so don't stress out! except maybe about the number of people you're having for thanksgiving! is it going to be a potluck-like meal or are you cooking everything for everyone?
my grandma (mom's mom) hosts a potluck style one every year where she makes turkey and dressing and everyone else brings like six other dishes so we have TONS of food, but i usually go to my dad's where my stepmom cooks for me, Aislynn, her, my dad and 2 stepsisters. i love both traditions, but there is just something i LOVE about going up there to be with them. despite the 8 hour drive, it's my peaceful time.
I'm at 25000 words, and I'm right on track. No stress.
People will bring things, but I'm ultimately responsible for telling who to bring what. And Nolan has a penchant for saying, "No, you need to do (whatever it is). Yours is better."
I see a lot of things in store for Thanksgiving, but peace probably isn't one of them. :D
crazy, regarding your thanksgiving -- Congrats to Ethan.. that's so fantastic - I feel proud of him and he's not even my kid! (that seems to happen frequently with kids I like, though...)
I've so far written 50 words today... gotta get my groove back now that the play is over...
I should probably do a write up about how that went, too...
About the Thanksgiving party - eeps! But you can make stuff ahead and freeze it - right? All the very best. I'm already looking forward to seeing the picts.

If you can count on nothing else, you can count on the laundry to be waiting for you ;)
