 Hallo, all.

Going to be scarce this weekend... lots to do.

Spent the afternoon at the new house, deciding where hardware should go.  Who knew you had to decide where toilet paper rolls are installed?

Keeping in mind that it's not done yet, we're still a few weeks out...

I *love* the house... and the space... and the kitchen!! And the laundry room!! :)

Carrie, you lucky, lucky girl!

PS: Sorry for the abundance of exclamation marks... I am torn between squealing over the picts and going pea green looking at them. Seriously, I would kill to have the space that you have.

No one know's I'm lucky more than me. I still can't believe it.

And Nolan travelled all the time when we were first married. I remember thinking, 'Is this how it's supposed to work?'

Your house looks great! I am having serious kitchen envy right now!

Good luck getting all your stuff done this weekend!

How's your exchange fic going?

My exchange fic is... um... out of control, I guess. I think I am about two-thirds to three-quarters of the way done with the first draft, but it may end up longer than I am expecting (which is a lot longer than I was expecting when I picked the prompt!). I hope to make significant progress this weekend, but I had similar hopes last weekend, and hardly managed anything. The looming deadline is starting to be counterproductive, I think. So I am generally stressed. That's probably more than you wanted to know, but you did ask! How is yours going? Or should I just take your hopes of working on it this weekend as a sign of how it's going?

I'm probably about as far along as you with NO conceivable end in sight, as usual.

I'm truly hoping that it will become apparent as I type it into the computer...

I LOVE your laundry room too!

I would be DYING waiting and waiting for the house to be done... and I remember the pics you posted of just the framing and stuff - WOW things are going quick! WOOT!

Troy. That's the blinds guy's name. I hang out with his wife at the pool in the summer.

I'm ready, but I wish I could *poof* wave a wand and all the stuff would be moved.

Oh goodness me I understand exactly - we get movers now... they pack up everything too... so YAY for the Mounties paying a fortune to move their staff, eh?

The countdown is on.... HEE! YAY for new houses. :)

We'll have movers, too, but they don't pack things...

Yikes.

I adore the house! What I wouldn't give for the kitchen, laundry room, and that gorgeous bathroom. *giggles* Of course it would be hubby's company that would put a hole in your ceiling...how soon will they have it fixed?

Oh, they'll fix it when they come in to fix all the other cosmetic things, like where the trim guys banged into the walls....

*sigh*

*sigh* Well, at least you don't have to fix it yourself!

(I am giggling at your icon since the T/G story with the Wizard of Oz references is posted and I am posting the second half sometime today!)
