Help. I'm crippled by the decision making process.

Okay. So the powder bath. (Stop snickering, Celeste.) In the new house. It's the half bath. That guests will use. And it's the only room that I requested to put wallpaper in.

Who knew that there were that many different kids of wallpaper?

I was woefully unaware.

I've narrowed it down, though.

I think all of them are pretty, but I'm tipping between A and C.

Without seeing the one that is your favorite, I'm going with C. They are all lovely, though.

I only picked c because I couldn't see d. I really have no imagination for what I can't see.

Oh, girl. I wish I were there. :)

I didn't vote b/c I couldn't see D either, but I also liked C of the first three. (A was pretty, but then I thought of it covering a whole wall and was all O_o) :D

I wish I was going to see it... but I like the sound of D. Plus, I'm pretty sure you probably have pretty good taste, so if that's your favourite ;).

I went with D, but I have one question for you: Wallpaper in a wet area?

Hi, Jen!

Wallpaper's actually quite sturdy. Once it's hung and dried, it's pretty much on there until you pull it off--and even then it's difficult.

When I was young I lived in a really old house, with some of the original decades and decades-old wallpaper, even in the bath. It's actually quite more durable than paint.

And that's my home-decorating tip of the day!

I've just seen what happens when water gets into plaster (I have some minor holes in the grout in our shower and it's made a right mess of the walls on the other side), so I could just envision the mess it would make with wallpaper. Though, that being said I can imagine a really good quality paper would stop a lot of the moisture seeping through. I guess I'd just never imagined hanging paper in a wet area. We tend to tile or paint, after layers of anti-mold preparation ;)
