Writer's Block: True Crime

Most definitely the assassination of Abraham Lincoln. John Wilkes Booth's motives are actually quite interesting-- and I can actually quite understand why he did it (though I wouldn't have gone quite to the lengths he had). I also find the mysterious death of Edgar Allan Poe -- not entirely sue if that *should* be counted as a murder case-- ( Read more... )

I was happiest to read this part:

"...and I can actually quite understand why he did it (though I wouldn't have gone quite to the lengths he had)."

Oh, thank ya Jezuz! Our lil Carpe is not a murderin' fool!

I've always been fascinated by the mystery of Lizzie Borden. She was like the Paris Hilton of her day (Daddy's lil rich girl), so it was a trip to think she offed her parental figures. Paris does stupid. Not pre-meditated stupid, just plain old stupid, like the kind you get for free in the cereal box.

Hahahaha. XD

Are you sure about that? *shifty*

That one is an interesting one, though I don't know it in much detail.

I also find the mystery of ICXana's past interesting. ,_,

It is. Personally, I believe that she, herself did it, but her friend took the rap for it, being of stronger mind and body. And, actually, thinking about it now, what if Icxana only did it because those two guys were after her friend all along and she was acting to prevent them from causing her friend harm. People always think it was Icxana's friend that was acting in her defense, but what if it was both? Icxana offing those two guys, and her friend doing the time bc Icxana wouldn't've had the strength to survive a sentence.

In truth, there isn't a lot of detailed hard evidence about the Borden case. Most is speculation and a whole lotta hearsay. Nobody knows a damn thing and you can let your imagination run wild with it. Which is part of why the case fascinates me so much.
