Should she wind up in the library, there is a crat laying on a large, open book. His eyes are half closed and he's considering taking a nap as the book he's reading isn't terribly interesting, though it is very comfortable.

He wouldn't say no to a bit of conversation though.

Echo shakes his head. "No. Not in a way where humans could understand. I'm able to understand nearly every language though so they could talk to me.

"You're one of the few here that don't think it's odd that I can speak. It's rather refreshing."

"It's kind of weird to me too," she admits. "But weird is normal here and weird stuff has happened to me in real life too. Or my old life. Whatever it is. Or was. But there are stories about talking animals. So why not?"

"Why not indeed. Things can be very strange here and I'm certainly not at the top of that long list," Echo says, a hint of amusement in his voice.
