Karla has been going skating, or out in the snow, pretty much every day. She comes tromping inside midway through the afternoon, shaking snow out of her ice-blonde hair. "Phew!" she says, loudly, to no one in particular. "That's bracing, it is. No wonder the males stay indoors this time of year, I bet it shrivels their balls right- oh, hello!"

"I'll only be a minute!" she calls out over her shoulder, hurrying to find a warm coat.
When she finds something cozy to wear--ooh, it's fur-lined and soft--she puts it on and heads outside.

"What a pretty dog you have," she says, smiling widely. She can't help it--the dog reminds her a little of home, even if it's not a direwolf.
