     It had started out as simple nostalgia; this is going to be Dean Winchester's first winter at the Mansion, and Hisoka Kurosaki has fond memories of last year.  The question of snow seemed a rather large one, ridiculously important in a way no other aspect of weather really is, but that's probably more to do with what can be done with snow that

Catherine is trying to write, but the squabble between Dean and Hisoka is very distracting, and so she sets it aside. "Mister Winchester... might I ask what is going on?" she asks, a little cross, but careful not to show it.

"I might change my mind: we'll see if the tale has a place for you," she says, blushing a bit at this eagerness to be included in her tale.

The offense melts away, replaced with the charismatic grin that's gotten him through so many doors and, let's be honest, into so many beds. That's not his intention now, though. That's just how he is.

"That's more like it - though I wouldn't wanna make the other characters jealous. Maybe it's best there's no place."

"Jealousy adds conflict and a good tale has in it a healthy amount of conflict to keep it from growing too calm and comfortable," she says, grinning.

"Well hey, conflict is totally my territory," Dean grins right back. She makes his face hurt. In the good way. "Which is why we're totally gonna cream the competition."

"With your confident command, I verily believe that we shall be the victors," she says, beaming.

"Can't win the war with commanders alone - we've got a strong, good looking team to boot," Dean grins back.

"Then we shall prevail for certain," she says, and, typist willing, she might unconsciously link her arm with Dean's, more in a comradely way than an amorous way.
