The typist feels that Sansa should meet Melou, since he's probably the closest thing the Mansion has to Joffrey. (He's not an evil sociopath, though. Which is a relief.)

He can be found standing by the lake, silently staring out across the water.

Sansa sort of creeps up behind him--not intending to frighten him, just curious.

"Are you bored?"

"No," Melou replies, giving her a bit of a look. He thinks that's a strange question. "Do I look bored?"

"--Yes. You do."

Tom's working on some of the costumes for Cyrano's play, and there wasn't enough space in his bedroom for him to spread the fabric out properly, so he's moved out to the common room. If Sansa wanders in, she'll find him trimming a piece of fabric that he's laid out on the floor.

The nearest couch is covered in rolls and scraps of fabric, too.

When Sansa wanders into the common room, she sees the fabrics laid out, and the man working on them. She smiles a little.

"Hello," she says. "Are you making clothes?"

"Yeah," Tom replies. "Um, sort of. I'm making costumes."

"For what? Is there going to be a festival?"

Perhaps if Sansa goes outside again, she'll spot a pink haired, slowly yet steadily practicing her sword play. (If she wasn't injured she'd be a lot faster.) In movement, she might look like a older, even more tombyish Arya.

Sansa stares a little while at the pink-haired young woman before speaking.

"I like your hair." She smiles. "It's pretty. How did you get it to do that?"

She stops, stands up and looks at the red-headed girl.

"Thanks. It's natural."

Her smile turns into a grin.

"I like it quite a lot. I'm Sansa."

Have someone who is nearly always cheerful, Sansa. Chaucer's in one of the sitting rooms, tapping out the meter to his latest scribbling on his knee and nodding his head as he semi-mouths the word. The rhyme is in the syllables, after all, but he won't mind being interrupted. His inspiration in this place is in no danger of being elusive.

Sansa manages to find him, and watches him for a little while before speaking.

"Are you all right?" she asks, seemingly concerned for his sanity.

She is not the first on that score, and unlikely to be the last. Geoff doesn't notice her at all until she speaks, at which point he glances up sharply, then smiles easily.

"Indeed, the very picture of mental and physical health. Rudely so, some might say. And yourself, my lady?"

Sorry about the repost - meant to ask but forgot. I kept Dean away because I wasn't sure how well Sansa would do with him, but I can send him along as well if you like?

"Me?" she asks, a bit confused. "I'm fine, I think."

you can send him if you'd like! :)

Swimming is the best way to strengthen injured muscles, his dad always told him; low impact, as long as the wound is closed. Dean has taken that advice to heart and, when he aches too much to do more walking on the half-healed thigh, he moves his restlessness down to the lake, where Sansa might find him if she wanders there.

He's taking a break, currently, laid out on his back in the sand with his eyes half-closed, wearing his jeans and amulet and nothing else.

She'll be watching him then, curious. Sansa is always curious.

After a bit, she quietly comes up to him.

"Hello. Are you too warm?"

Dean hears her long before she says anything; nothing about her advertises a threat to him, so he stays put until she speaks. One eye squints all the way closed while the other focuses on where she's outlined against the sun above him. His voice sounds slightly groggy, but there's no particular emotion in it yet - neutral enough.

"No - is it time to turn? I don't want tanlines." Neutral, but humor is still his main defense as he tries to figure out who's talking to him.

"--Tanlines?" This is a foreign concept to Sansa.
