Draco had not seen or spoken to Harry in weeks. Ever since they'd had that fight he didn't know what to do with himself and, feeling very lost, he'd stayed hidden away in a new room he'd found for himself. All alone

The blond girl - she has hair the same color as Draco, how odd - is sitting by a window and drawing things in the little mist of her breath, with gentle fingertips.

She may or may not have Grey Wind with her, but though she is an ordinary girl, there's probably something a bit unreal about her - there ever was, for a dreamy little embroiderer-turned-queen like Angelique.

I'm going to ask Robb's typist if she can borrow Grey Wind, will let you know as soon as I know. I was thinking of punting Helen and Belize - do you think they would work? Would anyone else work better? Let me know. ♥

This being dealt with, Angelique smiles. "-- I'm afraid I still don't know who I'm talking to, Monsieur."

He takes a deep breath, as though it's an effort to keep speaking. "I'm Draco Malfoy."

[fairy_fingers]

"Well met, then, Monsieur Malfoy," Angelique replies elegantly. She tilts her head, tries to think. "-- I do believe your name sounds familiar..."

Harry did mention Draco, didn't he?

"You didn't tell me yours," he points out.

[ooc: By name? I think he did! When she was going to have a talk with him.]

"Lady Angelique Stark-Martell," Angelique repeats, with as much dignity as she can muster.

"And this is Grey Wind," she adds, after a moment, her hand still knotted in the extremely large wolf's fur. She's probably been petting him and calming him throughout the whole exchange. Big wolf is protective.

[OOC: Hope that's alright - I finally spoke to Robb's typist. >.< ]

Draco wrinkles his nose when introduced to the wolf. He doesn't like animals. So he ignores that part.

"Lady?"

"My husband is the heir to Winterfell, and the King in the North," Angelique replies a touch primly.

Grey Wind doesn't look like he likes you, Draco - but the young woman's hold on his ruff is firm, she even shushes the direwolf when he growls.

"You're a Queen?" Draco sounds doubtful then looks nervous when Grey Wind growls.

She squares her shoulders a little, her chin juts stubbornly. "So I am, if the King in the North is my husband," she replies. "This is his direwolf, Grey Wind, and he is sworn to protect me."

It's the first time that she waves around the titles she acquired by adoption and marriage, but it seems to be the thing to do this time, so...

"My father is the Prince of Dorne, the Red Viper."

"Sounds.. dangerous," now he looks even more nervous. "Look, I don't mean you any harm...."

Angelique looks back at Draco, her hold on Grey Wind's fur is very tight. She leans down, whispers something sweet to the wolf, who stops growling, though his ears are still couched.

"--- I don't think you do," she replies to Draco. "Grey Wind is very protective, is all."

She smiles a little. "Shall we start over?"

"Can we do it without the mutt then?" He really doesn't like animals... and his manners aren't always the best.

"His name," Angelique says seriously, "is Grey Wind. And if we are to be friends, then you are to be kind to him as well."

She doesn't look very pleased with both Draco's tone and his word choice.
