[Open Post] And If I bleed, I'll bleed...

If Misa could tell anyone on how it's like to be killed, It was horrible...

So very, very, horrible.

Misa's eyes open again, expecting to see that... monster masquerading as a human again. She screams, but all she can see are trees, and all she can feel is the cold soil. She shivers, her clothes are nowhere to be found and she's in the forest, in the ( Read more... )

If she ventures into the main room, she may spy a young man curled up on the window seat, clad in a vaguely Chinese looking black suit, his violet eyes intent as he pores over "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland", illustrated by some fellow named Mervyn Peake.

Titus nods. "Aye, that is he. You described him perfectly," he says. "But I regret to say that either you must be mistaken, or that this man must have a brother who closely resembles him."

Well he does, but he doesn't look that much like him. (At first glance.) Also, he isn't here.

And this is when Misa gets pissed, she didn't get snatched up in the night, strapped to a table, tortured and taunted, chopped up, and eaten by wolves for nothing.

"You don't believe me?"

He shakes his head. "I'm sorry, Miss, but I'm afraid that I am having a hard time believing that," he says. He's genuinely apologetic, but he clearly does not believe a word she's saying.

Now a couple of Misa's headmates are facepalming now. (Especially Aramat and Genkai.)

Misa then looks totally pissed. "You have got to believe me..."

"I would if I could, but I have no personal reason to doubt a man who treated me during an illness," he says, spreading his hands, at a loss.

"He could have been lying to you. He is a monster with a human face. And he slips off his kind mask when he's ready to kill."

Hell, thats how he got Misa.

"Or it could have been a simple case of mistaken identity," Titus replies patiently. Misa's arguing is starting to remind him of Fuschia. Iromically, he's being as overly trusting in someone dangerous as Fuschia was in an older Steerpike.

Misa is starting to look really pissed. "It was not. I saw his face."

"It could have been his twin. My father had twin sisters who were so alike that no one could tell them apart," he says, patiently.

Misa face contorts in anger.

"And it was? Would the doctor know?"

"I would have to ask him," he says, trying to keep his patience, but starting to fail: the girl's insistence on being right is wearing it down (as is his own persistence on being right, the wretch).

Well she is trying to protect you from him. It's not Misa's fault that you are so damn stubborn Titus.

"Well do that. He'll lie to you, he will lie to your face."

"Then I will ask among those who know him or know of him," he says, irritated. "How can you expect a man you have only just met to believe a claim like this?"

"I only wanted to send a warning... that is all. If you're dumb enough not to listen to it, then its not my problem." Misa spits out and typist allowing, walks away in a huff.

On the inside Misa is despairing, she went unheard...

Maybe Rudy was right...

FTB after you.

He does nothing to detain her. He might shake his head before turning his attention back to the book he was reading. Her emotional outburst at his reaction reminds him of Fuschia's flouncing, and he's learned to handle those by paying them no heed.

But time enough, he'll rue the moment that he ignored her word...
