It took Cyrano a few weeks to finish up his play, to make up his mind on the casting. The results of the readings are finally posted one morning on the Mansion's billboard, in his clean, cold, intellectual yet flamboyant penmanship.

Our composer with the messy hair looked at the results and smiled. However the smiling did not last too long, as she is now holed up in the ballroom with sheet paper, quill, ink, and the piano.

Songs are played, but only fragments of them. And every once in a while she bangs on the piano in frustation and a sheet is tossed away.

Hopefully someone can come a break her out of this. (We didn't say it was going to be easy...)

Aramat blushes and turns away for a while. "Oh it's nothing, Miss Mag..."

"As I said before, I always need something to keep my hands busy."

"I think you'll have your hands very well-occupied with this production: it's going to be a lavish production, from the look of things," she says.

She leans in, and gently kisses Mag on the forehead. "I'm just glad that you're in Miss Mag..."

She smiles at that kiss and puts an arm about Aramat's waist. "I am too: though I have a fair amount of lines to learn and that could be a challenge," she says. "Spoken lines tend to be harder to memorize than sung lines, but that's just been my experience."

"Well I only wish the best of luck..." And Aramat really hopes that, her formally blind bird had just escaped her cage, and in that brief moment of peace she had to see exactly what people like Aramat do to quell hunger. She sighs.

Regret, such a nuisance.

"I shall need it: I'm no stranger to performing, but I have to admit, I'm a bit nervous at the prospect," she admits.

She leans in closer to her friend, typist allowing, forehead to forehead, and Aramat's tiny gloved hands closed in Mag's.

"Don't be nervous, I'll be there as the musician. Just let my notes guide you, like any other time, dear Mag." She whispers.

I give you a conservation in headspace... Phoenix: I thought we agreed that you weren't going for Mag. Aramat: I never said I wasn't going to flirt. ^_^

She leans her forehead gently against Aramat, blue eyes to hazel eyes, smiling. "Your music and his words shall be that match made in heaven which people speak of," she says.

She smiles a little and nuzzles her a little.

"Miss Mag, I'm a humble woman..." She murmurs. She likes Mag, but won't go any point beyond teasing or flirting.

Besides, she's too good for her, and Aramat knows it.

Mag's open to flirting, but not much beyond that, at least for now, as she gets settled into her new life. She giggles gently. "No need for false modesty, though I wouldn't have you growing too proud either," she says. "It's too easy to fall into that, and I have seen the sorry results of that." Things like Amber Sweet's posturing: the girl had talent, but her vanity undercut it. Even without the addiction to the knife.

"Then hopefully I will stay humble as a I can."

Typist now wants to see Aramat in the Repo!verse. IDK on what she would be...

"I pray that you do. It is sometimes not easy to keep from falling prey to ones own self-confidence in one's talents," she says, thoughtfully.

According to the commentary track on the DVD, there was a scene involving a Repo-Woman, which got cut. Hmmmm...

"Well hopefully, you can keep me humble..." She murmurs.

"I think that we can keep each other humble: we have a lot of hard work ahead of us and if there's one thing that keeps a person humble, it is hard work," she says, glancing toward Aramat's manuscripts.

And it has been. Aramat's mind is chaotic, and fast-paced, writing out the music that plays in her head is not an easy task, compounded by her constant frustration. Still, she likes you being here.

She closes her eyes, and buries her face in Mag's shoulder. "Indeed it does..."
