[open] sure, when it's autumn...

Oct 27, 2010 19:07

Echo has been a bit depressed about the coming winter, so she's been spending as much time outside as possible, climbing trees and collecting particularly pretty leaves. Currently, she's in the process of raking leaves to make into a pile. Will she jump in it? Of course she will!

Anyone is free to join the happy nymph as she enjoys the autumn day

Leaf jumping? That does look like fun to a black cat-man watching her from the edge of the forest. He's never done anything like that before and he think he might like to try it... Though he's shy and doesn't want to intrude on her happy place.

He crouches to pick up a few leaves nearby and takes them over to her pile.

Echo looks over at him and waves, wanting to be friendly. She stops raking a moment, and might take a leaf from his hand and examine it.

Asato smiles a bit, his ears flicking forward. He'd tried to pick the leaves with the brightest colors that happened to be nearby.

"I'm not bothering you, am I?"

"...am I?" She shakes her head.

Titus is roving the grounds, enjoying what's likely to be one of the last nice days of the season, when he spies the girl romping in the leaves. And he's immediately minded of the Wild Girl. She doesn't move as fast or with the same strange grace, but she has that same air of freedom. Granted, he saw her die, struck by lightning moments after their first passionate kiss, but there is a man here who died in his world, why wouldn't she be here?

Before he can stop himself, he blurts out, "Is it you? Are you here?"

"...You here?" She turns to look at him.

That throws him. The Wild Girl could not or did not talk, and this girl is much tidier -- and clothed. "Oh, I'm sorry, I thought you were someone else. What's your name? You're quite pretty."

"...quite pretty," she murmurs, blushing deeply.

Here's a knight from Orkney, wandering through the grounds and feeling rather bored.

"Oh. Leaves," he remarks flatly, upon seeing Echo. "How fascinating."

"...fascinating," she repeats, nodding vigorously. She's clearly excited.

"I am intrigued by leaves," Agravain says, with his usual lazy sarcasm. "It's so interesting how they all look exactly the same."

"...the same," she says, nodding. She's a little confused.

Here's another knight from Orkney (they are in abundance today, it seems), though this one is much younger than the other one, and much less gregarious. He's currently walking around the grounds, brooding, with nothing to do to take his mind off his ~troubles~.

Echo spots him and will wave and grin, all friendly-like.

Ew, a friendly person. Melou doesn't like friendly people.

That's why he's stopped walking, and is standing awkwardly, just looking at her.

She tilts her head, curious, and walks towards him cautiously.

Galadriel is happy to see someone is trying to take care of the shared space, and she smiles at the girl.

"Do you need any help?"

Galadriel comes closer, then, and perhaps with a few words, the leaves remaining to be gathered fly together into a small pile.

It's not common for Galadriel - Lorien was always covered in leaves, and it did not matter. However, since it seems to be important to this one, Galadriel is glad to assist the strange girl.

Echo grins more and jumps up and down, pleased by this.
