Will happens to be walking through, with Ebony, his border collie puppy, following at his heels. He stops when he sees Harry.

"Have you lost something?"

Harry makes a small frustrated sound then nods. "Umm, yeah.. ," he looks to Will then smiles slightly at the puppy. "Hey...," he crouches and goes to pat Ebony's head in a friendly way.

Ebony enjoys being patted and starts licking at Harry's hands.

"What have you lost?" Will asks.

"A couple of things," Harry straightens up again. "A ring for one thing. I don't suppose you've seen it somewhere?"

He might find a young man in oddly-cut Victorian garb, sitting on a deep window seat, cutting an apple into slices and carefully peeling it before eating it.

Harry approaches, staring more at the window seat than at the young man sitting on it. He clears his throat. "Err.. Pardon me. Do you mind moving for a moment?" He wants to see if the seat is removable and maybe the Hallows are hidden inside.

The young man looks up, puzzled, then gets up obligingly. "Sorry to be in the way," he says, in a clipped, rather formal voice with what could be a British accent. "Looking for something?"

"Yeah, a couple of things. Sorry. Won't be a minute," he smiles tiredly at Titus then inspects the seat, frowning when he finds nothing and letting out a sigh.

Riku is shadow-sparring with a wooden sword in one corner, and initially does not notice Harry rummaging around. But eventually he does and looks up. "Oh, hi, are you looking for something? If you want someone to look with you, I'd be happy to help," he asks, hopefully.

Harry looks the boy over then gives him a strained smile. "Yeah, that'd be good if you don't mind. Um, I've lost a ring. And a... kind of stick."

"A stick? Like a throwing stick for a dog?" he asks, his eyes going a little sad, though his tone doesn't change. He's always wanted a dog, but the chances of him having one now are unlikely since animals shy away from him.

"Not exactly.. It's more like this," he pulls out his own wand which is similar but shorter and a different style and wood to the Elder wand. It's obviously more than a simple stick picked up off the ground.

[sophie_darling]

This is a perfect moment for little Sophie to come across Harry, and she'll pause and look at him, hands on her hips.

"What are you doing, Mister?"

Don't think any of yours has met this one, hm? ^^

Harry looks up, startled, then down at the girl. He blinks at her attitude then gives her a smile. "Um, I'm just looking for something I kind of lost.."

"Oh! Is it a game! I really like games! Let me play, please, Mister?"

She's a bit bouncy, like that.

"Kind of?" He doesn't want to scare her by saying what he's looking for is potentially dangerous but the things shouldn't be harmful to her touching them unless she's a witch.

"What's your name? I'm Harry."

It's not impossible that there's a Frenchman writing at a desk, not to far from where Harry is conducting his search. Pausing for inspiration, Cyrano notes the movement, and sighs.

He stands, starts to collect his notes, to find a quieter place to work.

Or course, Harry is free to interrupt him.

Harry notices the man sighing and moving and feels the need to apologise, thinking he must have disturbed him.

"Sorry about that," he pipes up.

"The place is public," Cyrano tells the youth. "I had best find a place that is not, if I wish to complain."
