Lystra is sitting at the window, alone. She's sent everyone away, not that there were many people to send away. She doesn't look sad. That's one thing she tries very hard not to do, but she has a wistful air about her, and she is clearly lost in her thoughts.

"The flowers are lovely!" An exclamation, because she's excited, and her son's woken up, so she can afford to be a bit loud.

"Thank you, lady -- I gathered them from the gardens here." She smiles very earnestly, and she looks a little excited herself. "I am Queen Enide of Farther Wales. I should be glad to know your name, and that of your child."

So a man, dressed neatly and soberly is bent over the bed. The child, a chubby three-year-old boy, is dividing his time between helping and playing. Armand watches him, but obviously isn't at all uneasy.
