Oh. My. God. That's all Belize has been thinking all morning - Belize has found something marvelous.
Wigs. Feathers. Purses. Pumps in HIS SIZE. Sparkling and glittering things. Make up. And he's just overjoyed, because he'd been missing the drag act, lately.
If a certain clothier with exquisite taste were to wander in a certain hallway of the

At any rate, she watches, staring a little - though there is no malice or prejudice there, just genuine confusion at the glitter and flitter and some curiosity at the idea behind it. It looks like fun, though, even if Nellas in her plain forest clothes can't really compare.
"I have a feather too, look," she says eventually, mustering some courage, and holds up the leather band with Iggy's ragged feather, and there is a faint almost-smile on her lips.

"Nellas. And I think you're very nice because you are giving someone you don't even know a dress. They aren't easy to make."

Having found something he deems acceptable (a pretty little thing that goes below the knees, in white and green, with an ivy print), he holds it to Nellas.
"Here, what do you think of this one?"
Reply
"It's lovely! But I can't take it. It's too precious!" By now she is blushing to the tips of her ears and her voice sounds rather more excited than she'd like to admit, and she is reaching for the dress after all, at least wants to touch the fabric and the print. "And it looks so real! We don't have anything like it!"

It's energetic, and a bit overwhelming, and fond, and just generally very, hm, Belize-ish.

And when she comes back a little later it is barefoot and hesitant. The dress hangs a bit loosely around her upper body and ends a short while above her knees - she is a little taller than she seems, perhaps, but she is happy and her eyes are shining, and she wouldn't give the dress up for the world.
"It's pretty," she wagers, still a bit overwhelmed, and throws herself at Belize for a hug.

"You're lovely, sweet cheeks," he tells her. "Now -- twirl a little? Let me see what we have here..."
He's happy to... make her happy. He might have to find her more clothes, if they give her so much joy. (And Nellas probably just got herself a friend. Belize is easily endeared, and frankly, this young elf is hard not to love.)

(And she would very much like to have Belize as a friend, even if he is doing strange things. The world is wide, and there are many things she doesn't understand, and by now she doesn't really mind anymore. She can still learn.)

And if Nellas allows, he might wander over and try to tie the belt a little more snugly around her waist, with efficient hands.
(Of course! And he can learn too - so far, he thinks she's human, and hasn't noticed the pointy ears. He might have some questions when he does, but it won't change the fact that she's got this queen eating in the palm of her hand.)

She allows. Belize is a nice man, she thinks, and even though she doesn't see the problem with her new dress, because pretty!, she lets him. He wouldn't harm her, she can tell as much.
So when the knot is tied she'll spin again, by now looking breathless and flushed.
"Is it better now?"

He'll gently guide her to a mirror, then. Watch out Nellas - next, he'll want to fix your hair too.

But for now it is only round-eyed staring at the mirror, and poking a finger against the surface to be certain this is not a trick - not because she doesn't know mirrors (which she does) but because she can't believe the way she looks.
"Is that really me?"
Reply
"Of course it's you," he tells her. "And you're lovely - you'll be turning heads, sweetheart. Even I don't swing that way and I can tell you that."
&hearts also, hello!

Apparently modern idioms leave her helplessly confused. Especially of the kind Belize uses, because honestly, she hasn't ever given too much thought to that area of life. "And I don't want to turn heads. That sounds painful."

Of course she's thinking about Iggy. A little. And the fact that she is thinking about him makes her blush more.
"M-maybe? But he can't even see." And that makes her clamp a hand over her mouth and look somewhere, anywhere, else. Her face, by now, is flaming. "So he won't be able to see me."
