[Open: Belize] Can you handle the catwalk?

Dec 05, 2013 09:11

Well, it was about time the admnin portion of things related to the fashion show was handled, Belize decided. With Justin up to his pretty ears in sewing, he's taken it upon himself to recruit models. Frankly, he can't imagine anyone not wanting to take the catwalk with those creations, they're simply delicious ( Read more... )

Neville knew Belize before he began dating Justin, but now he has added interest in befriending the man. He recalls how sad the man was when his lover left, so he's happy to see him less sad. He knows firsthand that it's difficult to be sad around Justin for long.

"Nice suit," he compliments. "Did Justin make it?"

A quick thread? Perhaps he can be convinced to do the special effects/light show for the show?

"It's got my Justin all over it, doesn't it," he replies with a happy, proud smile. "My man can sow, you gotta give him that."

Grinning a little wider, he adds, "And you'd look great in one of his suits, precious."

Sure thing, though Belize: still gonna aim for the star! :-P

Neville's smile falters at the last. And then he laughs. "Oh, I don't think so. No, not at all," he shakes his head. "Justin is talented though, I have to agree." He's happy to know that his old friend has found happiness, and he thinks so much of Belize too.

"He's a really good man," he murmurs.

"Yes, he is,and yes, you would," Belize replies forcefully. "Now is that some failed confidence I see there darling? Nuh huh. Not with auntie Belize, you don't. Come along. I'll see if we can show you otherwise."

And if he can, our favorite queen is going to take Neville's hand like one does a toddler's, and drag him to Justin's workshop.

"Nothing for now, sweetheart, but maybe later," Belize replies, coming along to offer her a precious handshake. "I'm Belize," he tells her, "and you're stunning."

Because she is.

His smile is warm, and he's already imagining her in one of Justin's creation. Oh, yes. She would be lovely on the catwalk.

Belize bows playfully, then spins on himself. "Aren't I?" he replies, grinning. "Put it all to my Justin - he makes the prettiest things."

And then, because the occasion is there, "You know, you'd look great in something of his."

You know what would be amusing? If Justin recruited Genie. Because catwalk shenanigans.

Here's a man that we're certain Belize would not want as a model. Truthfully, Frank had little interest in fashion while he was alive, outside of knowing what suits to wear that would help him command a meeting or allow him to look either his best or worst depending on what photographs were being taken.

Now, despite his broad shoulders and height, he's gaunt and, well, dead. He cares even less, only going so far as to take care that his clothes are clean and well maintained to keep out any hint of rot. He's walking the halls of the Mansion himself, a few papers in hand that he occasionally makes marks on. He's certainly open to talking of course.

Belize of course is on the prowl, so he'll be looking at everyone who passes him by - a cursory look makes him think he's got a potential, but a more attentive examination orders a loud gasp from him.

That, he means to say, is a skin condition like he's never seen.

He won't think he's talking to the undead: he's too rational for that, and well.... that's something he hasn't had to deal with here, so far.

Boyle doesn't flinch, though he looks a bit more studiously at his papers at the gasp. There is a chance, after all, that it wasn't directed at him.
Still, he does murmur an apology and an attempt to make himself a bit smaller.

Yeah, good luck avoiding Good Nurse Belize, Boyle. This is one man who isn't about to flinch from the Most Awful Skin Condition Ever.

He's handled Roy Cohn, he can handle you.

"... I'm sorry," he says, approaching a little, "... are you alright?"

Remy's also wandering through the mansion as well with no particular destination in mind, absently twirling his cane. He smirks slightly when he sees the man in the flamboyant suit and tips his hat in greeting. "Afternoon," he says. "There a party somewhere I should know about?"

Would totally model if asked.

Well aren't you the pretty looker, Remy. Honestly, if Belize weren't in love with someone, he'd be hitting on you like nobody's business.

"Oh, for you, handsome, absolutely," he replies. A handshake is daintily offered, and he goes on with, "I'm Belize. And how would you like to be in a fashion show?"

Not Remy's usual type, but he'd have flirted back a bit. "Remy LeBeau," he introduces himself as he returns the handshake. "A fashion show?" He gives Belize a smile. "Alright, tell me more."

"LeBeau indeed, my my," Belize replies as he turns around Remy, examining him, and in fact imagining the man in one of Justin's creations.

"Oh, you'll be perfect."

He's grinning.

"You see, my partner happens to be a most wonderful couturier, and we are in very dire need of beautiful people to help us showcase his work. And you," cue a dramatic pause, and an eyebrow raise, "are it, sugarpie."

Come now, Belize is hardly limited to only his smile as a weapon. That suit cuts a sharp figure and will certainly hit the mark.

Something that bright and colourful will attract the attention of a particularly happy lady of Camelot.

"With the winter and greyness of outside, you certainly provide a lovely burst of colour." That suit is making her smile, as would a rose of a similar colour.

Belize grins, because that praise is going straight to his beloved, and sketches a bow for the medieval beauty. "Mission accomplished, then," he replies, and extends his hand, which he intends to use to hold hers, and kiss the air above her knuckles.

This one queen knows his social graces.

"Belize, at your service, princess."

"I am no princess, but my father gave me the title of Lady," it's far more pride in her father, than insistence on rank.

"And please, just Morgana." As per usual, Morgana's not only well dressed, but well accessorized, by medieval standards. She takes pride, though beauty can be its own shield.

"And your service is well done, if colour is what you are giving us." And what a service.

Belize chuckles, and bows again. "Now it's time for a confession," he tells her. "My nefarious plan was to get your attention."

He's not quite flirting - what with not swinging that way - but it's definitely warm and charming, in the way men like him can be.
