Perhaps Bridget will come visit a sister-in-law? She's in her very last weeks, and he'll be lucky to catch her on one of her better days. She's in her room, settled on a long chair and just begun reading the Chronicles of Narnia, out of curiosity.

What could a story about a lion, a witch, and a wardrobe possibly be like, she wonders.

She'll be happy to have a visit, though - reading tires her.

Bridget, of course, is coming to say hello and coo over Angelique just a little.

So he will knock, because he is polite after all, before coming in with a few flowers in a vase and a bright smile on his face.

"Hello! I hope I'm not intruding."

"Bridget!" the book is forgotten, and she grins wide. "Come in, come in! There's tea - oh, I was so sure there was another cup!"

She starts to struggle to get out of the chair.

"No! Nope, you stay right there!" Bridget comes over, setting the flowers on a table and moving to wave Angelique back to her seat.

"Look at you! You are simply radiant today!"

He would probably insist that friends is a big word for er, whatever this acquaintance is. Yet Feanor will be located at the Mansion, for once. Even the High King of the Noldor needs a change of clothes occasionally - and as he's been sleeping much at his forge, well, his need is dire.

That is why Bridget will fall upon him as he exists his almost deserted room, a bundle over his shoulder.

He's on the way back to work.

Bridget isn't paying much attention as he walks, so he nearly does fall all over Feanor in the hall, only stumbling back at the last moment.

"Oh! I'm sorry!"

We refer the typist to the icon for Feanor's reaction.

"Manwe's beard, Bridget," he says, remembering, for some reason, the name of the bounty hunter. "... it's been some time."

Bridget beams up at the elf. "It has! My apologies," he adds, offering his usual half-curtsy/half-bow.

"I hope you've been doing well?"

It might be on the way to the Mansion that Bridget happens on Helen, or perhaps on the way back. It may be getting a bit chillier, but she still enjoys her afternoon walks, and so she'll be slowly making her way to the lake.

She needs to exercise her leg: it's of course healed since the quake, but she worries about long-term sequels.

There's still a very slight limp to her, to the trained eye. Mostly, though, she's fine.

"Helen!" Bridget will jog on over to his mother-in-law, pleased to see her up and about while also being a bit worried.

"I'm so happy to see you! How are you?"

Bridget is getting a quick hug and a kiss on the cheek.

"I'm well enough," she replies. "Coming over for a visit?"

Bridget smiles and offers a hug.

"I am! I've just been so wrapped up in me, it's not fair to anybody else so I wanted to see how you were and everything."

Justin hasn't run across Bridget in some time. Truthfully, he's thought of him and wondered how he is, how married life is treating the couple, but their paths just don't cross. So he is absolutely thrilled when he comes upon him by chance on the stairs. He smiles broadly. "Bridget!!" He gets an enthusiastic wave as Justin rushes to close the gap.

Bridget lets out a happy sound and will run right to Justin, clearly wanting a hug from the other man. "Justin! Where have you been? Where have I been? Oh gosh!"

Justin is so pleased at the hug, he laughs. He'll return it happily, giving Bridget a broad grin when he pulls back to get a good look at him. "You, I think, have been honeymooning. I have been hopelessly falling for someone and in their bed as much as possible," he sing-songs shamelessly. He is very clearly happy. "I have missed you!"

"Honeymoons are no excuse for neglecting my friends," Bridget protests, but he's grinning happily too.

"And you with someone of your own! You've got to tell me all about it!"

Bridget steps out, Roger in his arms, and spots the little girl. He's a bit worried, since he knows that children often show up without parents around, but he's also incredibly cheerful and friendly and warm.

"Good afternoon," he calls when he's close enough. "Are you going to make a bouquet? Or maybe some flower braids?"
