It had taken a while but Sebastian had begun to settle in to the Mansion. There weren't any obvious or clear ways out so he'd have to work from within. There certainly were an interesting group of people here, he'd observed - and maybe something could be made of that

Helen doesn't know who posted the notice: when she and Sebastian briefly met at the bar, they didn't trade names. She's kind, though, and sees in the advert the desire to counter loneliness, and so she goes.

It'll take her a moment to find the room, and there, polite as ever, she'll knock.

She's right in a way. Sebastian has long wanted to find someone like himself. He was unique in his world and while he wouldn't really admit to being lonely he had been disappointed to find out how much his sister and mother hated him. He'd hoped that at least his sister would be somewhat like himself and be understanding.

He answers the door quickly enough and looks slightly startled to see the woman he'd briefly met before. He hadn't sensed anything strange about her, though, so he didn't know why she would be here.

"Hello again. Can I help you?"

Helen startles when she recognizes the odd young man, and smiles a little.

"It's you," she says. "Well, I thought I might answer the advert."

Her smile is almost apologetic, but not quite. "If only to offer information and a touch of distraction."

He steps back to let her enter. The room is a bit messy, clothing is thrown haphazardly across chairs and the bed - he pulls the clothing off a nearby chair if she wants to sit down and tosses it to join what's on the rumpled bed.

"What information do you have?"

Here's an ordinary man by all biological accounts, who is, well, not ordinary by others. He's actually on watch duty when he sees the add, and ends up wandering up to the room with his partner.

That's how you get a ninja and a puck on your doorstep, Sebastian.

Sebastian is glad to have some responses to his message. He'd grown tired of sitting in the background, just looking on at as the world went by. It was time for action.

He eyes the pair curiously.

"Hello. Did you come about the message I posted?"

"Call it a way to break off the long strand of uneventful reports," Robin replies, smirking. "Strange solar occurences excepted, of course."

Niko shakes his head.

"We've both got experience with the supernatural," he explains more soberly.

"That certainly was a strange thing the other day," he agrees. No matter where he looked he couldn't find out why or how that had happened.

"So what experience do you have personally?"

And here's someone who is quite definitely not a mundane, though he masquerades as one.

Shadow shows up hoping to recruit a new ally, or friend, in the fight against darkness and evil gods. He has no idea, though, who he'll be dealing with.

If he hadn't been corrupted as a baby, Sebastian would bound to have been an impressive fighter for the side of light. As it was, he only wore the mask of such a hero. Figuratively.

He greets the latest visitor with a welcoming smile. May as well start on a nice note.

"Hi, I'm looking for Sebastian Verlac?"

Shadow looks probably like your usual brawn.

Except he certainly isn't human.

Sebastian looks fairly normal as well - a good-looking young man with impossibly fair hair and skin but with the blackest eyes; the pupil as dark as the iris.

"That would be me. And you are?"

Because everyone needs to meet a talking purple unicorn...

He might hear the clip-clip, clip-clip, clip-clip of little hooves on the parquet floor of the hallway and then someone tapping at the door. "Hello? can I come in? I saw your sign and I thought I'd say hello," a chirpy voice asks.

Opening the door, Sebastian looks a little surprised then suspicious.

"And you are?"

We don't blame him for being surprised: one has that effect when one is a talking. Purple. Unicorn. "I'm Twilight Sparkle," she says, offering a hoof; she's heard about this custom of shaking hands that humans have and she's happy to try it on for size. "Is this a good time to talk?"

Stiles isn't supernatural, but he shares the interest. He was friends of werewolves back home, after all. He reads the sign, smirking a bit. He runs a hand over his chin and he looks around to see who posted it.

He catches the man's eye and gives him a nod in greeting, glancing at the note as if for confirmation that it was his.

"Your sign is a good idea. Wish I'd thought of it," Stiles comments with a little nod.
