Daniel ... well, Daniel is seven, and tends to get easily distracted (comes from being seven and also a puppy still), so even though he knows he has an important job to do, he sometimes forgets and doesn't think about it

Here's a Billy! He's outside, and appears to be running around aimlessly.

(He was chasing something. But then he got overexcited and forgot what it was.)

Billy! Exactly who this puppy is looking for! And even running around aimlessly can be fun.

Made MORE fun by the addition of a happy, barking Shadow of course.

Billy is pleased by this addition.

"Daniel!" he exclaims, happily.

Shadow will tackle, or attempt to tackle, Billy in his excitement. He'd been looking for him! And now he'd found him!

If Daniel ventures farther out, he might meet Gingalain. The young knight is going for a stroll along the edge of the woods.

Daniel is poking around the edge of the forest as well, sniffing out interesting paths, but remembering to stay outside of the actual deeper parts of the forest. He's not really dressed for the weather, wearing a flannel shirt that belongs to TJ (and that is clearly much too large for him), and loose shorts.

He shies away a bit at seeing someone he doesn't know, but he's not shifting or running away at least?

"Oh," Gingalain says, when he spots him. "Good day."

Daniel waves a bit. "Hi. Who're you?"

He might come upon a black dog lounging in a sunny patch glinting on the hood of a black truck, like a pick up truck with the rear bay enclosed. He seems completely at ease, enjoying the sunlight and the spring air.

There's a black wolf pup coming up to sniff around the truck, curious about it and about what Jacquel is doing. He sort of remembering being told to be careful around Jacquel, but can't remember why so he's sort of pushed it aside.

The black dog pricks up its ears and looks toward the newcomer, emitting a friendly rumble, then pulling his mouth back in a doggy grin, his tail wagging slowly.

Daniel will always miss his mom and his dad, but he's got TJ and Tony and a whole pack of weird, but cool wolves (and a Billy) to play with so he's happy here. Live in the now. If TJ had expressed those feelings, Daniel would be happy to tell him that he was being silly and he could have more than one dad.

"Yeah! Can we go out by the stream? There was a badger den there!"

Daniel wrinkles his nose. "You've got longer legs than me," he says. "You're not gonna leave me behind, right?"

Lukas likes Daniel, likes having a younger werewolf to play with. It's almost like having a little brother. He'd like to think they're closer now. He's certainly been trying to forge a closer connection with the kid. He'll approach, tail wagging, jumping on his paws as if he wants to play.

Shadow perks right up from where he's been chewing on a thick rope. Play time? Of COURSE he wants to play! He's still a puppy, and has all that nearly limitless energy that being a pup can bring with it.

He gives a high-pitches yip and drops the rope in favor of scrambling up onto all four feet and bounding towards Lukas.

Lukas yips back, a little deeper than Shadow's own, and jumps out of the way just before Shadow reaches him. He'll yip again, and leap toward Shadow, jumping over his small form.

Shadow flails a bit, all long and awkward puppy limbs as he tries to catch Lukas. He'll try to tackle, but miss, and attempt even a body slam, but fail that pretty spectacularly as well.

Still! He's having fun and his tail is wagging hard.
