If Iphigenia is still around - Pascal will eventually take a break from his studious endeavors and will wander into the kitchen.

He's lost in thought and hasn't noticed the sad young woman, but the noise he's making as he searches for coffee is probably enough to attract her attention.

Sorry it took a while to get him here. Better late than never, hm?

She nods. "He was so very kind to me, and now he's gone."

Pascal sighs. "I understand your grief, though perhaps it will be a minor comfort to know that he will return?"|

[ohmaiden]

"It will take time, though, yes?"

[doctor_pascal]

"Yes, it may," Pascal replies softly. "But all the same, better let than never, no?"

[ohmaiden]

"I suppose, yes."

[doctor_pascal]

He nods again. "All the same, you need to occupy your time until then."

[ohmaiden]

"With what, though?"

[doctor_pascal]

"What would you occupy your time with otherwise?"

[ohmaiden]

"Reading, perhaps. Walks, maybe. I'm not sure."

[doctor_pascal]

"Exercise, intellectual endeavors, anything that will pass the time will help you. Have you no friends to visit?"

[ohmaiden]

"I do have some friends, yes," she says, nodding.

[doctor_pascal]

"Then spend time with them. Where are they?"

[ohmaiden]

"They're nearby, don't worry."

[doctor_pascal]

"That is well, then." Pascal smiles -- and on impulse -- "Might I offer you a horse ride, Mademoiselle?"

[ohmaiden]

She blinks. "A horse ride?"
