We hardly got to see any onscreen bonding between these two. It's nice to see some love for Ahamo. And yes there are some people hoping for an update of Redemption and Reconstruction. *Raises hand :)

I'm so glad you like it. And there will be more DG and Ahamo bonding in the next chapter of R&R (which is what started this fic). The next chapter is written and at the betas, and it's long. So I hope it's worth the wait.

I love the father/daughter interaction between Ahamo and DG here. We definitely were cheated out of that reunion on screen.

I totally agree, which is why you're not only getting this fic, but also more father/daughter interaction in the next chapter of R&R. It's written and long and at the betas, so I hope it's worth the wait. :-)

I *totally* understand what you mean. I rewatched most of his scenes for research for this fic, and I'm sure it was to increase the tension, not knowing who this guy is, but something about him is just...off. So I'm trying to rehabilitate him. Good to know it's working! :-)

Oh, and the way things are going, this isn't the only thing you're going to be taking the blame for (though I will take the blame for corrupting you and will help you placate Eva and Miles). :-)

I don't know if it's the actor or how the writers had the script written or what, but I just don't like him.

And for those things, I don't mind take the blame for either. My poor innocent mind. *hears gut busting laughter in background* Oh, shut up! They're starting to calm down. Slightly.

*clappy hands* You gave words to my impression of Ahamo! I liked Ahamo, and I couldn't think of why because the show didn't exactly give us much reason why we should like him. But I think it was mostly DG's mother's love for him that was his only real redeeming quality in the show. You just made it that much better and more concrete. :D

*cough* And it was so good, I read that instead of my work. :P If I fail, I'll blame you. ;)

Seriously, I'm so glad you like! We saw so little of Ahamo and I really wanted to make him more of a real person.
