Is it odd that I warn for Spoilers about movies that were released in 1993? One can never know though who hasn't seen that film yet ...

Since I have run out of Alan Rickman movies to watch, I am currently going through David Thewlis' movies. I've never been interested much in Thewlis-but then I saw his penis read more about his work as an actor ( Read more... )

actor: david thewlis, non fic, film: naked, film, film: total eclipse, film: anonymous, film: dragonheart, hair

Jason Isaacs was in Dragonking? I'll have to watch it again sometime. I keep imagining Lucius/Remus overtones :D

Anonymous looks interesting. William Cecil was Elizabeth's chief minister.

Bacon, and now Oxford? Leave William alone :D

:)

Hee! I adore Lucius/Remus :D

Anonymous had very cool costumes. In case of David Thewlis too many for my liking :P

Yes, poor William Shakespeare doesn't get treated very nicely :D ... but Rhys Ifans as Earl of Oxford is wonderful-and Vanessa Redgrave as the Queen! Wow!

Lucius/Remus is ftw :)

Yes, David Thewlis should wear less robes :)

I don't see why an aristocrat could write Shakespeare's work under the eyes of Elizabeth's court :)

Rhys Ifans must have been a treat, and Vanessa as Queen Elizabeth! Now I've got to see it!

I honestly don't know that much about Shakespeare so I only can cite Wikipedia on this but in short the general accepted theory is that William Shakespeare did exist and that he was in fact the author of his works.

A lot of people ( the 'Anti-Stratfordians') doubt it because he was from simple a background, and knew a lot about the ongoings at the court which Shakespeare couldn't have.-Maybe the theory that it was a group of people rather than one person alone could have some merit. Shakespeare might have known people at the court and could have worked the information he gained into his plays.

Oh, there isn't enough Lucius/Remus!
