I crawl into bed around 2 am most nights, and wake with the sun. Sometimes I crash again around 3pm for an hour or so. I'm a night owl AND an insomniac.
My favorite job was delivering newspapers. It didn't pay enough, which was why I eventually had to give it up - but I loved the hours! Bed at 2-3 am, up at 11 am. Nap at 5pm. If pushed I can do bed at 1am and up at 9am. My awake time is from 7-2am, with the peak being 11pm-1am. If anyone needs me in the morning, it is best not to have anything important to say to me. Or in the early afternoon.
I need about 9 hours to function, but that I mostly the arthritis speaking. I used to need 7-8.
