The Early November is quite possibly the worst band I have ever heard. My poor ears were subjected to their hideous racket while waiting for Less Than Jake to take the stage. It was well worth the wait, though, because Less Than Jake lyK rAwk3d! (No, silly, that's not how I really type!) I ended up in the pit for a few minutes, but I am a wimp ( Read more... )

hahaha Their hideous racket? Eh. everyone's entitled to their opinion.. I believe that since their drummer was their tour manager, they did a pretty damn good set. I did talk to their lead singer, and he said that he thought their drummer was going to come back. Anyway, The Early November is a awesome band in my book.
Ok, Though I'm not a real fan of ska, I did enjoy Less Than Jake. But the "pit" was hilarious. It looked like all those kids were playing ring around the rosie when I think Chris? wanted to see a pit go around that pole. I couldn't help but laugh at how ridiculous it looked.

I knew I wouldn't be too popular for saying that. But yeah, I guess I exaggerated a little. I've heard bands that are worse. I guess I'm just pissy about how people act at these things. They don't know what they like. They blindly choose their music based on what other people think of it. Then they come to these shows and act like the bands are fucking gods. I know there are real fans out there, like you. My apologies. I just wish the other type of "fans" would listen to the stuff they pick out before deciding to praise these guys.

Ring around the rosy..that's we were saying it looked like!

Yeah, you can't help but have people there for just the scene, which is the majority. I completely agree with what you are talking about.

i started this bright orange scarf and its sexy but its like not long enough.
woo-hoo for going to big concerts with big people that people know
that made sense!
i havent started the odyssey either but im not going to so uh, im going to get it off the internet...somehow...

I can tell I am going to run out of this yarn I'm using. But oh well, at least I now know how to knit.
I've read about 25 pages of The Odyssey. Are we supposed to do anything with it? As in make lists of plot events or anything like that? I don't know...rarr. I'm getting frustrated.
