Monteith Monday: Drive-by Edition.

Jun 27, 2011 09:24

I confess that I did not give much thought at all to Monteith Monday this week. In my defense, I have neglected everyone and everything all weekend long to write 10,000 words of cowboy AU. I'm on a deadline! Rough drafts are due on Friday for au_bigbang and I am bound and determined to have a second fic to put up. I know, I know. But I'm only losing ( Read more... )

OMG SCRUNCHY FACE! Love it! I can look at this every time the lady using the computer hits herself in the head and says "heaven." If I recall the cowboy AU is Puckurt? I AM WILLING TO SACRIFICE FOR THAT!
Oh, and we had a great visit with Kimberly & fam yesterday. Zachary kept looking at my dog and saying "He is very small." And then they were taking turns walking Reiko to the stop sign at the end of the street. So much CUTE!

Yes, it is a Puck/Kurt cowboy AU. Because the world was not complete without one.

I heard that they managed to stop by and admire your clean house! I'm glad you got to see them. Zachary enjoys telling it like it is, that's for sure. Though Cody is approximately 80 pounds of love and he wants to show you it all the time right up in your face, preferably with tongue, so comparatively speaking, Reiko is very small. He's usually right, our Zachary.

Yes, I vacuumed AGAIN Sunday morning since my 6 pound dog manages to shed about 1 pound of fur per hour. My mom even noticed and said "Your house looks so nice. Now keep it this way." Of course, my inner 15 year old wants to mess it up while my inner 50 year old agrees. Mia and Zachary are so cute that I will probably tell people at work all sorts of things they did that I find charming, like Mia randomly hugging me and then turning to Kimberly to say "Mommy, I hugged her." I love it when small children narrate!

I think that scrunchy face is my favorite thing about Cory!

I totally feel your bigbang pain. My royal court Puckurt keeps getting more and more epic and just not ending because Quinn is being evil... I had originally meant to enter two fics, but the first one just did not happen and now the second one is long enough for two and a half entries, but not complete. Good luck finishing yours!

I've had my first one done for weeks, so at least I have something to put up. But this is my third go at a second entry, and it is no longer Winn-centric, alas. Still, for just starting it Friday, really, it's already over 11,000 words with a clear ending in sight, so I'm optimistic about my chances of pulling it off.

I just really feel the world needs a Puck/Kurt bull rider AU. It's a moral imperative. Or something.

Good luck with yours!

I bet he think the nose scrunch is sexy as hell. I'm pretty sure he thinks he's suave. How adorable is that???

I don't know, I'd be willing to wager that Cory does not take himself terribly seriously at all.

As in takes himself too seriously? I'd absolutely agree. However, being that he's young, not blind and has at least one mirror? I'm betting on at least one or two occasions he's pretty pleased with what he sees. The rest of us are...why wouldn't he be?

I love scrunchy noses! Especially Cory's.

Have you been watching The Glee Project on Oxygen?

I tried to watch it. I think I lasted five minutes. Then Ryan Murphy opened his mouth and my ears started bleeding and that was the end of that. I just...I can't even go there.
