Hello! I have had five shots of espresso and three cups of French press coffee today. My heart is going to explode any second!

While we wait for that to happen, the amount of caffeine in my system is making me too twitchy to write any fic (any decent fic, that is; just ask jengeorge, who has been patiently cleaning up my messes all afternoon) so have a ( Read more... )

I think you can just fill the poll out again to overwrite your first answer? But I will make a note of your actual suggestion. I knew someone was going to ask me for a timeline. Until I get tired of waiting? (Nobody said it was a fair contest!)

oh I already know what scene I want, and you, you will be stuck writing it ;-) (in otherwords Rachel is now making it less likely they will pick B.A.M.F.)

What I can see of the dragon is awesome. Okay I put in a name, I know I won't win. LOL. But awesome contest :-) And Mia and Zach are just so adorable!

Why so much caffeine today, Caroline, though hmm maybe I should make some coffee, tea didn't do a thing for me today.

I woke up in the middle of the night last night and couldn't get back to sleep, so I have been existing on caffeine today just to make it to 5:00. Of course now I won't be able to sleep again. It's a vicious cycle.

All names will be considered!

Ah, yes that is a vicious cycle, I wish you much luck breaking it!

Need a hint. Do you know any of their song's titles? cold_tea January 5 2011, 22:49:15 UTC
Damn, after that future-fic by cinderlily were Puck composes for Mercedes, I lost all sense of what his real band was all about.
So now I've got a bunch of suggestions (beside the one I've submitted in the poll), each taking the band in a different direction...
- Mace
- pubic dandruff (self, what's with the immature grossness?)
- Ninja Penguins

Um...no, I have not thought of any song titles for them. I always assume they started as a cover band and played kind of generic bar rock, like Pearl Jam and stuff, and then Puck came along and he writes some, not seriously or anything, but it's mostly suburban white boy angst music. Pretty much anything by The National would fit the bill.

This is my go-to Puck/Kurt song by The National: Slow Show (it's the one he wrote for Kurt in the boarding school AU)

They also have a song called Bloodbuzz Ohio that makes no sense. Puck totally could have written it. I also think of him when I hear My Morning Jacket for some reason, particularly this: The Way That He Sings

(In my head canon for the boarding school AU, that's the song he was working on that wasn't ready to play for Kurt yet.)

I think it would be unfair for me to vote, as I admit to having no naming prowess at ALL. But I do have to pipe in OMG. YOU MADE THOSE? And when did they get so big? I mean, seriously. Why are kids growing up, don't they know it kind of breaks adults hearts? (This might be a tirade carried over from work, but the point stands.)

But I'm home and I have fic to read so the whining about my babies growing into five year olds who ask politely to go to the bathroom and don't remember my name will be staved off.

Please, it's a completely biased poll. (So far I'm winning! You will have to write for ME! And I want fic about Brittany and her brother!!)

Yeah, those kids have gotten HUGE. I don't know when it happened. One day Mia was this tiny, sweet little thing, and then we blinked and she had the devil in her and was always up to no good. It's all been downhill since.

The costumes...well, yeah, I am kind of proud. They came out okay.

Oh, I am so in it to win it!!! Because I know exactly what I would want written!

I've already had two ideas, but turns out they are the names of actual bands. Bah!

Oh, and I am gushing at how wonderful the costumes look and am so glad to see your nephew has finally put it on!!

You should be so proud of how nice they look.

All the good band names are taken! Well, not *all*. But most.

Thank you! Zachary wanted a million portraits taken, according to my sister. Now that the Christmas excitement has died down, he's very into his costume. So that's cool. Next up: I make them chef coats. Yeah, I'm that big a dork.
