Yuletide:

Oh, that would be so great, thank you. I am ... distracgted by your icon! Is that new? Yummy! Anyway, as I was saying, I am always losing my place in books when I read them on my work commutes so they would come in handy! Let me know if you need my address?

Mia looks so cute in her dress, it looks beautiful and so much better than anything shopbought, is it her favourite colour too?

I'm adoring all the Sandlot love, and your amazing Yuletide fics. I loved the film so much as a kid, I am tempted to get it on DVD even though I know I have it on VHS up in the loft!

I don't have The Sandlot on DVD either, and I really need to get it, because I want to watch it again, of course. I should check if the library has it and maybe check it out tomorrow.

My icon is new-ish, in that I uploaded it a few weeks ago, but I haven't really used it much. I like to pretend they go to Vegas and drink too much and get married even though it's not technically legal. Just for fun.

Purple is Mia's favorite color, yes. At least that's the color she chooses most when her mother lets her pick out her clothes, but she's really not picky. I think she likes the fanciness more than anything. (Who wouldn't?)

I think I do need your address. Can you send it to carolinecrane at yahoo? I will get them in the mail hopefully next week sometime.

Mia looks adorable in that dress, with the tiara and the christmas lights make her look all glittery like a Princess should :-)

There are little sparkles in the lavender fabric as well, so she's sparkly indeed.

Your yuletide stories are great, and I am enjoying them immensely! I'll have to wait to read the last two until I get back from enjoying my parent's New Year's dinner. Which I assure you, will be a much welcomed reprieve!

And your princess costume is amazing and little miss Mia looks absolutely adorable in it! You totally win a cool-aunt award for that one! And is she wearing shiny silver shoes in the picture? I am totally jealous!

Love the Glee poster--is it from ALA? I have a Jonas Brother's one that is similar (as well as a Dan Radcliffe one)that I put up in the children's library that I run. I'm definitely going to have to see if I can order it. I need to place an order for Black History Month materials anyway, so I think I'll just slip that in!

You're welcome, and thanks for the encouragement on my Yuletide offerings. I wrote kind of a lot in unloved fandoms, which is the point, so I'm glad.

I hope your New Year's dinner is wonderful! I had oatmeal and worked on Glee fic and it was GLORIOUS, because I am finally done with huge family meals for awhile. Peace and quiet whatwhat?

Mia's shoes are indeed sparkly silver ballet slippers. She wore them to church on Christmas Eve as well. For such a tomboy, she really loves dressing up.

The Glee poster is an ALA product, yes. I ordered it from their site on the 22nd, I think, and it was out for delivery on Christmas Eve, so the turn-around time is really quick. I've got 100 of the bookmarks too; if you'd like some for your library let me know and I can send some sets your way.

I can give out a few at work to other fans, and I have a few people on my friends list who've put in requests already, but otherwise I'll just be offering them up to the friends list at large, so if your kids would like them I'm happy to share.
