I love Joan Osborne. It's a guilty pleasure. Today's songs are from her Christmas album, "Christmas Means Love", which came out in 2007. The first, "Children Go Where I Send Thee", is a pretty faithful version of the traditional spiritual. The second is that most creepy of traditional carols, "The Cherry Tree Carol", aka the song wherein Joseph ( Read more... )

Truly, some fan I'd be if I didn't:

One Of Us

(I have the Glee cast version too, but since you don't care for the show I won't foist it on you.)

Lord, who doesn't? He's *dreamy*. (His character, not so much, but that's not the majority opinion.)

Damn on that list! Eeek, yet also totally awesome to have that much writing in your world.

Impala thankfully usually vomits on the hardwood floor, easy clean up, thank god. I

See, I have laminate floors on the entire first floor. Where does she throw up? Upstairs. At least once a week. Except, of course, for last night, when she decided to change it up and vomit downstairs. On the couch.

The list is daunting indeed. It seemed like so much less until I wrote it all down.

Hello. My name is Liz and I'll be your (eternally happy) beta.

How may I help you? :)

(PS. This may or may not be because I will be requiring reciprocation soonish?)

(PPS. I'm sorry about the thing with your sister. Hopefully it won't take away any anything from fun time with the little monsters. Just try and remember what I have to repeat when my brother drives me crazy, just because she's being raised by him does not make my niece him. Oddly it helps?)

Actually it was good, I think. We said stuff that needed saying, cleared the air as it were, and I think that's the first time either of us have ever said the words 'I love you' to each other, which is kind of sad, but you know how I am, and my sister is me times 100 when it comes to affection ( ... )

LOL, Thanks. I really need to get on the sewing. It's getting tragic at this point. But I am going to get the next part of DIWWCF posted by Christmas if it kills me. (Work is slow right now; I have a shot.)

I know that second song, it's on Joan Baez Volume 2(which I'm almost sure I own). I'm sorry you fought, but I'm glad it turned out okay. I wish I could do something to help with the overabundance of writing or sewing you have, but all I got's moral support. So: go you!

I love Joan Baez. (My mom's a huge fan, so I grew up with her.)

Could you do something about the cat vomit, though? That would help me out TREMENDOUSLY.
